Tolson Elementary Thunderbirds

Tolson Elementary ensures students excel in the basics: reading, writing and math. We offer a guided-reading program where students work together in small groups and a “reading doctor” who works with children in kindergarten through third grade.

We strive towards academic excellence with a significant focus on staff and students' desire to arrive, engage and produce successful outcomes.

We endeavor to provide a safe, academically challenging environment where students love to learn, teachers love to teach, and staff love to work. Tolson encourages parents and guardians to collaborate with teachers to support student achievement.

We are proud to be recognized as a 'B' school by the Arizona Department of Education, and a Ben's Bells Kind Campus.
